I first picked up a camera at the University of Notre Dame while working for the school magazine, but it wasn’t until years later — as a mom of three — that I rediscovered photography in a meaningful way. Inspired by the North Shore’s coastal beauty and my love of travel, I create bright, fresh, documentary-style images that capture genuine moments and make simple scenes feel extraordinary.
Based in Massachusetts, I photograph families, couples, and coastal weddings, and also create fine art travel prints for the home.
My approach
Courtney Caroline Photography is rooted in light, color, and authenticity.
My approach is relaxed and natural — I look for genuine moments over perfected poses. My hope is that when you see my work, you feel both energized and at ease, like the ocean itself.
