Malcolm was welcomed into his family by his mother, father, and two excited big sisters. Newborn shoots with older siblings involved are as much about the siblings as they are about the baby -- it's a great time to show them lots of attention and capture them off on their own while baby takes breaks during the session. Their interactions with the new baby are my favorite, and can range anywhere from dangerously affectionate to completely disinterested. I had such a fun morning hanging out with this family of five (and came away with some tips on being a mom-of-three!). Here are some of my favorites from the session:
