Extended families can be challenging because there are a lot of people to fit in one frame, but they are also a blast because there are so many combinations to capture. Even more fun is that as people watch and encourage each other from off camera, everyone often starts to feel more comfortable and those true connections shine through in the photos. Sometimes the kids and grown ups forget I'm there entirely and I can just chase them around as they play! I was so impressed at how beautifully coordinated this family was (check out the blog "What to Wear to Your Family Photoshoot" to see how perfectly they nailed it!) for their session at Chandler Hovey Park in Marblehead.


With its almost 360 degree ocean views, Chandler Hovey is an amazing spot for a photoshoot because we can get gorgeous backdrops no matter what the sun is choosing to do that day.
