When my grandparents decided to make the trip to Massachusetts for Christmas, my mother had a special request: she wanted photos of the whole family together, including the grandchildren. As many pictures as we take every day, these kinds of extended family photos are very hard to come by! Especially ones that I'm in. So I booked us a spot at the beautiful Studio at the Mills in Peabody (since it was the middle of winter, trying to shoot outdoors with young kids was a 'no' for me...) and we got everyone together. We kept instructions for outfits simple: neutrals or soft blues/greens. Even though it was right after Christmas we decided not to lean in to the holidays because we wanted the photos to be displayed year-round. With the help of a tripod and a lot of bribes, we were able to capture some great family photos, and even proof of my existence!
